How do I message a user?

Mamba’s goal is to connect people. We offer two methods to assist you: the Encounters and Search sections.

The Encounters section is accessible immediately upon launching the app or visiting the website. To begin conversations:

1. Like photos of individuals you are interested in within this section;

2. Receive likes in return. Once this happens, you will instantly have the chance to message that person;

3. Or, you don’t have to wait for likes:

• when using the website in your browser, click the gift icon on the photo card or the chat icon;

• when using the app, click the Super Like icon (a colored heart) on the photo card or the chat icon. You can also send a message or a compliment to someone, which will initiate a conversation with them.

You can write a message in the Search section. To access this section, follow the instructions below.

Mobile app

1. Click the magnifying glass icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.

2. Next, go to the profile of the person you are interested in and click the chat icon to send a message, or click the Super Like icon (a colored heart) to send a compliment.

Web version. Click the magnifying glass icon in the upper left corner of the screen.

Next, visit the profile of the person you are interested in and click the Wink or Message icon. You can also use the Send a Compliment feature available in the profile.

You can also message people you find in the Events section. Simply navigate to their profiles and choose the action you wish. This feature is available to Users with VIP status.

In the web-version, click the bell icon to go the Events section.

In the mobile version, click the star heart icon to go to the Events section.
