Why do I see users from other regions in Encounters?

Sometimes, you might find that you have liked all the users who matched your criteria in your area. To prevent you from having to wait for new people to appear, the region is automatically expanded. When new users register and match your filter, they will appear in the Encounters.

However, the region cannot be expanded indefinitely; at some point, your search may return no results. To avoid waiting for new users to register, try adjusting your filter parameters, such as age and height, to see other users from your area who meet the new criteria. You can do this in the Encounters section. The funnel icon for filter settings is located in the upper right corner. Click Change Settings/Parameters.

Make sure to click Save after adjusting the parameters.
